One of the unexpected benefits of this talk is people have begun sending me photo’s they’ve spotted from Desire Paths around the world, I’ll paste a few in here periodically:

They accepted the Desire Path and laid a diagonal concrete path -as you can see the students seem happy – nice work:

Imperial College in London just reacted to a Desire Path in a similar way (spotted by Ben Miles):

It’s interesting that Universities / Colleges seem to be doing the best job of this – I guess they’re more flexible than your average council…
